The Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies’ Migratory Shore and Game Bird Committee recently completed a report of Secretive Marsh Bird survey efforts throughout the Atlantic Flyway. In North Carolina, surveys of Black Rails were conducted through the Center for Conservation Biology (CCB) in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 using the Smith and Wiest Secretive Marshbird Survey Protocol.
Data are stored with the CCB and the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture.
