Federal Duck Stamps are conservation revenue stamps. Begun as a method for hunters to gain access to the US Fish and Wildlife Service Refuge System, they are now also a popular method for non-hunters to contribute to the acquisition and protection of wetland habitat and to purchase conservation easements.
The Klamath Bird Observatory each year provides a way to purchase both the Federal Duck Stamp (an important funding mechanism for wetland conservation), and a Conservation Stamp. Proceeds for the Conservation Stamp go towards larger Partners in Flight initiatives.
